Premier travel agency, LowesTravel.com, contacted our design firm to reconstruct their website. Their advertising budget had grown and they were ready to take their marketing to a new level. As 90% of their business was done online through their booking engine, it was important that their website reflect a Fortune 500 corporation instead of a travel agency housed out of a shared office.
At the start of our project we decided on redoing their brand identity with a logo, colors and a new website in its entirety. After intensive market research we constructed a logo and chose colors which would not only be competitive but reflect the company's larger personality. Next, we constructed a website which was both dynamic and static with a built-in email marketing feature so they can reach out to their customers with specials and other last-minute fares. The website itself was built with such features as updateable hotel deals, customised booking engine, hotel and car rental searches, and Thawte security certificate for guaranteed safe online transactions.
